The StingRay Ray4HH SUB Series is an addition to Sterling's very popular SUB Series with two humbucker pickups. 

This bass guitar is an evolution of the Sterling SUB series, maintaining attention to detail and quality from previous models while meeting modern bassists' expectations at an affordable price.

Compared to its predecessor, the RAY4HH features two upgraded low-noise humbucker pickups designed by Sterling by Music Man. They boast a 5-way switch that, along with the integrated active preamp, provides versatile sound options. The ceramic humbuckers create a stronger magnetic field to power the 9V integrated active preamp, delivering the iconic Stingray growl. The two humbuckers allow complete sound control. Use the warmer neck position for stronger tones and the bridge pickup for greater clarity and bite; or simply mix both together!

In line with previous SUB series models, Sterling continues to use a 2-band active EQ; however, they combined it with a 5-way pickup switch, giving you complete tonal freedom. The active preamp has controls for volume, bass, and treble, offering maximum flexibility in sound exploration.
