With a Cinemag transformer and a host of additional features, the Warm Audio Passive Direct Box is not just an ordinary DI. The Direct Box is designed and manufactured to high standards by Warm Audio, focusing on affordability while maintaining top-notch quality. The DI converts high-impedance unbalanced signals from guitars, basses, and other instruments to low-impedance balanced signals without degrading or altering your instrument's sound. The Warm Audio Passive Direct Box includes a variable pad adjustable via a rotary knob on the back, with a range of -3dB to -30dB - so you can always set the optimal signal level and prevent distortion caused by overly strong sources. The ground/lift switch limits unwanted hum caused by ground loops. A completely unique feature here is the Amp Out function, which you won’t find in other DI boxes. The Amp Out input allows you to send a signal from your guitar or bass amplifier directly to the mixer or audio interface - this feature has truly captured attention.

Intuitive controls and useful connectivity

Connect your guitar, bass, keyboard, or other high-impedance instruments to the front panel of the direct box. The Thru jack output is located right next to it for easy connection to your amplifier, and the converted signal leaves the unit through a robust XLR connector on the rear panel. The front panel switches include Phase, Ground Lift, and Amp Out.
