IBANEZ AW 65ECE-LG - Artwood Acoustic Guitar 6 String - Natural Low Gloss

This guitar comes from the Ibanez Artwood series, which offers classic Dreadnought-style guitars in both purely acoustic and electro-acoustic versions.

Their strengths include a solid top, well-selected materials, and precise craftsmanship, resulting in a very high-quality sound. The top of the guitar body is made of solid cedar, while the back and sides are made of okoume plywood. The neck is made of nyatoh wood and features an ovangkol fingerboard with twenty frets. The resonance of the solid top is supported by traditional X bracing, and white position markers facilitate navigation on the fingerboard. The aesthetic of the body is enhanced by a wooden multi-layer rosette and a dark binding.

The amplification is handled by a company-made under-saddle piezo pickup along with the Ibanez AEQ-SP2 preamp featuring a two-band equalizer and a built-in tuner. The guitar's signal can be output via a standard instrument cable (6.3mm Jack) or a balanced XLR output.

The strings are secured in chrome Die-Cast tuning machines and a bridge made of ovangkol with Ibanez Advantage pins, which are easier to manipulate than standard models. The string and pins also hold firmly in the optimal position, preventing the pins from being pulled out as the string tension increases. The guitar's bridge is shaped to optimally transmit string vibrations, achieving the best possible sound.
