The Sterling by MusicMan SUB Axis 3S in black features the classic MusicMan Axis shape with a single cutaway. Its original design is well-known among guitar enthusiasts. The Sterling SUB version has a body made of solid ash with a quilted maple top. The neck and body are joined with a unique five-bolt MusicMan joint, similar to the Silo 3. Perfect craftsmanship and body shaping provide easy access to the upper registers.

Axis 3S Neck

The asymmetrically shaped neck has the perfect thickness for comfortable grip and excellent playability. The 25.5" scale maple neck and fingerboard are fitted with 22 medium-sized frets, which are easy to manage. The neck is set into the body without visible or tangible transitions.

High-Output Electronics

The electronics consist of two high-output Zebra humbuckers directly mounted to the body. The special winding and wiring offer 5 distinct universal tone options selectable via a 5-way toggle switch.
