JE044W is an original replacement compensated nut from Ernie Ball Music Man, designed for Music Man electric guitars manufactured after 2005.

This JE044W Ernie Ball Music Man Compensated Nut is an original replacement part for post-2005 Music Man electric guitars, designed to improve first-position intonation thanks to its compensated (curved) fingerboard-side profile. Supplied in black and made from a durable synthetic/plastic compound, it is intended for professional installation and final slot shaping to match your string gauge and preferred action.

Compatibility

This nut fits most standard 6-string Ernie Ball Music Man electric guitars with a 1-5/8" fingerboard width (approx. 41.3 mm).

Suitable for models: Axis Super Sport, Silhouette, Silhouette Special, Luke (1, 2 & 3), Steve Morse, Albert Lee, EBMM SUB 1 and Reflex

Not compatible with: John Petrucci models (JP / Majesty), guitars fitted with a Floyd Rose locking nut, and Sterling by Music Man instruments (will only fit after significant dimensional modification).

Important installation notes

• Final filing required: The nut is supplied as a “blank” with guide slots. After fitting to the neck, the slots must be filed to the exact width and depth for your string gauge and preferred action.
• For compensated nut shelves only: Compensated nuts have a specific curved profile on the fingerboard side. Therefore, they will not fit guitars with a standard straight nut shelf.
