- Exact replica of a 1970s legend
- Analog phaser of proven design
- Simple and intuitive controls
- Optical amplifiers and premium components
- Sturdy and durable construction
The Warm Audio Mutation Phasor II is a precise reconstruction of one of the most sought-after, 100% analog phaser circuits that gained fame during the experimental era of the 1970s. The Mutation Phasor II possesses all the vintage nuances of the original phaser pedal, allowing you to add juicy modulation, fullness, or spherical dreamy sounds to your guitar, keyboards, or bass.
This electro-optical phase-shifting pedal is manufactured according to the topology of 1970s circuits using top-quality components. The Mutation Phasor II delivers all the rich depths and instant psychedelic tones favored by innovative musicians and producers like Billy Corgan, Tom Bukovac, Robin Trower, and many others.
CONTROLS
For an authentic experimental experience, the Mutation Phasor II features all the original controls.
Depth
For ultra-rich "restless" phase shifting, the Depth control adjusts the modulation sweep depth - providing deep modulation expected from a vintage fully analog pedal. Increasing the Depth level also adds to the frequency range of the effect, influencing higher highs and lower frequencies.
Rate
You can easily change the rate of the phase shift effect using the Rate control, creating slow "rolling" sounds or fast tremolos. The range is from 0.1 Hz to 18 Hz.
Feedback
This sends the modulated signal back to the input, "running" it again through the modulation circuits. Increasing its level creates a much more intense phased sound, emphasizing the so-called "sweep" effect. At extreme settings, individual sweeps can become pronounced, especially at slower speed settings.
