The solid-state overdrive pedal combines two legendary British blues amp-inspired circuits into one dual-channel device. It offers independent controls for each channel, three distortion modes, and high flexibility in tone shaping and sound character.

Each channel is equipped with independent volume, gain, tone, and presence controls, as well as switches for voicing (King/Blues), gain level (low/high), and drive mode (boost/overdrive/distortion). The global FX order swap switch allows you to change the order of the channels in the signal chain, while the external voltage boost (9V/18V) provides more headroom and dynamics. The circuit is fully analogue, using premium components such as JRC4580 and TL072 op amps and 24 diodes for authentic response and natural distortion characteristics.

Two Legendary Circuits in One Pedal

The Throne of Tone combines two of the most famous British "bluesbreaker" circuits, with the ability to switch between King of Tone and Bluesbreaker voicings. Both channels can be used independently or chained together, offering dozens of combinations ranging from subtle breakup to full distortion.

Three Distortion Modes for Each Channel

Each channel offers three independent modes – boost, overdrive, and distortion – for precise control over signal saturation and compression without losing dynamics.

Tone Shaping Controls

In addition to a standard tone control, each channel features a presence knob with a range of 500 Hz to 2.3 kHz, allowing fine-tuning of mids and highs for optimal clarity in a mix.

Voltage and Channel Order Switching

The global voltage boost function allows you to increase the power supply voltage from 9V to 18V, achieving extremely high dynamics and headroom. The FX order swap function lets you change the channel order, customising the signal chain direction.

Premium Components and Analogue Construction

Inside the pedal, JRC4580 and TL072 op amps work alongside 24 diodes and a dual voltage doubler. The fully analogue design ensures an authentic "amp-like" character and high reliability for live performances.
