The Pitchblack X by Korg is a compact pedal tuner operated via a classic footswitch. It offers ultra-high tuning accuracy of +/- 0.1 cent and features a clear display with a "bright" mode that enhances brightness for readability in any lighting conditions. The tuner accurately tunes notes in the range of E0–C8 and provides an adjustable tuning frequency of 436–445 Hz.
A major advantage of this tuner is its switchable bypass mode, allowing you to choose between true bypass or the newly developed ultra-buffer mode. When your guitar signal runs through long cables or an extensive pedalboard, sound quality naturally diminishes – the ultra-buffer provides the necessary boost to ensure no compromises in output quality. All electronics are housed in a durable aluminum chassis. The tuner is powered by either a 9V adapter or a 9V battery.
