Playing an instrument is not only fun, but a properly set-up guitar elevates your playing and sound to a whole new level. In collaboration with Master Guitar Tech Geoff Luttrell, MusicNomad™ developed the KEEP IT SIMPLE, SETUP (KISS) method. We’ve demystified the setup process by creating innovative, precise gauges and tools combined with detailed general instructions that anyone can follow to adjust their guitar for optimal playability and sound. Using our KEEP IT SIMPLE, SETUP (KISS)™ method and tools, you can check the vital areas of your guitar and make adjustments yourself. The Starter Kit includes gauges suitable for all electric, acoustic, classical, and bass guitars. Two sets of tools are included to adjust most guitars and basses. Note: Nut Files and Acoustic Guitar Soundhole Truss Rod Wrenches are not included.

  • Six-piece Precision Gauge Setup Set includes Truss Rod Gauge, Pick Capo, String Action Gauge, 2 Radius Gauges, & Nut Height Gauge. Comes with a 24-page instructional booklet in a premium case.

  • 26-piece screwdriver and wrench set includes everything needed for adjustments: 12 hex key sizes (.050", 1/16", 5/64", 3/32", 7/64", 5/32", 1.5 mm, 2.0 mm, 2.5 mm, 3.0 mm, 4.0 mm, 5.0 mm), 3 Phillips screwdrivers (#0, #1, #2), 3 flathead screwdrivers (2.5, 3, 5), and 7 hex wrenches (10 mm, 12 mm, 14 mm, 1/4", 1/2" (2), and 7/16). Includes a premium spanner wrench for tightening hard-to-reach nuts, such as those on potentiometers, without scratching the instrument.

  • 11-piece truss rod wrench set includes: 6 hex key sizes (5/32", 9/64", 1/8", 3/16", 4 mm, 5 mm), 3 socket wrench sizes (1/4", 5/16", 7 mm), a magnetised PH#1 screwdriver for truss rod covers, and a specially designed wrench for "round" truss rods used by MusicMan USA instruments.
