What does it offer?
The AXE I/O ONE provides the same great features as the Solo version but in a compact format. Thanks to the Pure microphone preamp, it captures the subtle details of your vocals and acoustic guitar beautifully. The Z-Tone instrument input is designed by IK Multimedia for faithful reproduction of electric guitars. Additionally, you have the Amp Out feature, which allows reamping—connecting your guitar directly to the amp. Combined with the included AmpliTube 5 and TONEX software bundle, you can have your guitar studio with you at all times—whether in your pocket or directly in your guitar case.

Microphone Preamp
The PURE studio-quality microphone preamp ensures transparent recording of vocals, acoustic guitars, and your guitar amp. Its extremely low noise allows capturing even the quietest nuances of sound with high dynamics.

Instrument Input
The AXE I/O ONE with triple topology is designed to maintain the unique character of your guitar. You can set whether your instrument has Active or Passive pickups. Another feature is the choice between a completely clean PURE sound or a warmer JFET coloration. The patented Z-TONE® circuit allows you to set the impedance from 1 MOhm to 2.2 kOhm, enabling you to enjoy shaping your guitar tone through interaction with the pickups, thus choosing a "sharp" or "full" sound. You can easily and quickly achieve top-notch sound that fits perfectly into your mix.

Reamping
The AXE I/O ONE offers an Amp Out output, from which you can send a signal to your guitar amp with zero latency and no grounding issues. You can then mic the amp with a microphone connected to the AX preamp. This way, you can gradually record the clean guitar signal and then enrich it with the great sound of your amp, including the connected guitar stompboxes.

External Pedals
You can connect either a continuous expression pedal or up to two switch-type pedals to the integrated TRS 6.3 mm input for external pedals. These can be used to control AmpliTube or other software during play. A typical use of an expression pedal is for Volume or Wah-Wah, while switch pedals can be used for channel switching, tapping echoes, activating Reverb, or many other functions.

MIDI In/Out
Another way to integrate a pedal controller, MIDI keyboard, or other controller into your mobile guitar studio is by using MIDI DIN connectors.

Control Panel
An overview of all functions and their settings is provided by the sophisticated AXE I/O control software.
In the Interface tab, you can set input sensitivity, activate phantom +48 V, control output volume to monitors, and the signal level of Amp Out, in addition to the sample rate.
The Controller tab offers MIDI channel settings and settings for external pedal or switch parameters.

In addition to the control software, you receive free TONEX SE, guitar amp emulation AmpliTube 5 SE, and multitrack DAW Ableton Live Lite.
