The Little Fuzzy Drive is designed to provide sounds based on retro fuzz tones, but with modern control and stability, resulting in a rich palette of tones. Instead of using rare germanium transistors, we employed operational amplifier circuits for the amplification element. This allows us to overcome the known unstable characteristics of germanium transistors caused by their individual differences and temperature shifts. The switch allows selection between Fuzzy Drive and Fat Fuzzy modes. The Fuzzy Drive mode is similar to its predecessor, providing a relatively tight tonal design, but with high gain and deeper distortion. The Fat Fuzz mode has a stronger sound with mid-range support, allowing for even greater gain. Like the Fuzzy Drive, the Little Fuzzy Drive is very responsive to dynamics and the use of the guitar's volume control. If the incoming signal is low, there will be less distortion. If the signal is high, you will add more gain and distortion. With all the rich features that the Little Fuzzy Drive offers, we still left enough space for a 9V battery. However, you can use an external power supply. We recommend using a regulated center-negative 9VDC.
