TONEX ONE can replace any amplifier, boost, overdrive, distortion, or fuzz pedal, and its small size means it can fit almost anywhere. Users can own multiple TONEX ONE pedals for different functions – some as overdrives, others as amp head simulations, or even as other effects. Thanks to its editable knob colours, you'll always know which effect is which, ensuring professional sound on your pedalboard.

Two operation modes

• DUAL MODE (default mode)
  Works like a two-channel amp setup, combining the power of two presets into one unit. In this mode, the TONEX ONE has two presets, A and B, which can be switched using the footswitch. Note that bypass is not available in this mode.
  With Dual Mode, you can have both clean and crunch sounds in one pedal and easily switch between them. Presets can include different amps and settings.
• STOMP MODE
  A simpler option that mimics the function of most stompboxes. The pedal offers one preset with two states (on and off). Switching is again done via the footswitch. This mode allows you to use TONEX ONE as a traditional overdrive stompbox, activating the overdrive or bypassing it entirely.

The combination of these two modes offers significant advantages. For instance, you can use one TONEX ONE in dual mode for clean and crunch sounds, and another in stomp mode as a classic distortion pedal.

20 models
TONEX ONE can import up to 20 carefully crafted presets. In browsing mode, presets can be assigned to any of the three favourite slots without needing a computer or other device.
At home or in the studio, you can select your 20 favourite presets from TONEX for Mac/PC or TONEX PEDAL and store them in TONEX ONE. Then, during a soundcheck or backstage, you can pick your top 3 presets for your performance.

For example, if you use TONEX ONE as your overdrive pedal, you might need a Tube Screamer, Klone Centaur, or ProCo RAT for different performances. Before the gig, you can select these three presets from your 20, making them easily switchable during the show.

Customisable colours for any setup
The colour of the micro knobs on TONEX ONE can be customised to match your pedalboard's aesthetics and make it easier to identify different pedals or units.
Thanks to its size and affordable price, many customers may choose to buy multiple TONEX ONE pedals and arrange them according to their preferences. Customisable knob colours linked to each preset offer additional benefits, helping you distinguish between modes A/B and bypass. For example, you might set your overdrive to red, distortion to blue, fuzz to purple, and amp channels to one colour, with A/B mode switching in orange and red. The possibilities are endless.

Available colours include red, green, amber (default), yellow, cyan, blue, pink, purple, and white. There's also an option to turn off the light entirely, which is useful for formal settings, such as theatres or performances where lighting might disrupt the stage aesthetic.
