Schaller Oyster D/S - passive piezo pickup - 1 pc

Schaller Oyster D/S is a passive piezo pickup with two pickup “shells” (sensors) for internal installation in acoustic instruments, delivering a more balanced and fuller sound than the single-pickup version.

Thanks to two sensors, it can capture a wider frequency spectrum of the instrument. The D/S (Double/Socket) model is designed for permanent installation and includes a high-quality 6.35 mm (1/4″) jack socket, which also serves as a strap button.

• Pickup type: Dual piezo contact pickup (two vibration sensors for the soundboard).
• Sound: Provides natural, warm and full reproduction of the instrument’s sound, without the need for active circuits or preamps. Two sensors allow better capture of both bass and treble frequencies.
• Passive circuitry: Does not require power, such as a battery.
• Material and finish: Nickel. The weight of one “shell” is 12 grams.
• Mounting: Intended for internal installation using double-sided adhesive foils or removable adhesive pads, which are included and do not damage the instrument’s surface.
